He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Raymond Dunn and Kathryn Dunn (McDonough); his siblings, Francis Dunn, Paul Dunn and Ramona Kolar; his brother-in-law Don Kolar; his nephew Thomas Dunn; his nephew-in-law Scott Bruner; and his niece-in-law Lucy Dunn.
He is survived by: his close friend Father Dunn; his sister-in-law Cathy Dunn; and his nieces and nephews, Dr. Anne Kolar, Matthew Kolar (Kathy), Joseph Kolar (Kathy), Karen O'Malley (Sean), Mary Bruner, Michael Dunn, Mark Dunn, Dan Dunn, Julie Szot (Joseph) and Mary Reilly (Jim).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (2012 400th St SW, Oxford, IA 52322). A vigil service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Peters Catholic Church (2012 400th St SW, Oxford, IA 52322). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (215 Summit St, Oxford, IA 52322). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Father Dunn expressed his wishes for memorial donations be made to either or both Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Oxford or St. Pater's Cemetery in Cosgrove for future needs and care.
