He is survived by: his wife Linda Finley; his children, Jamie (Sara) of Muscatine, Suzie Kazlauskas of West Branch and Shannon Carmichael of Tipton; his stepchildren, Genevieve Gunn of Blue Springs, MO and Bret Bigley (Tammy) of Iowa City; his brother Jerry Carmichael (Judy) of Washington; and his siblings-in-law, Lori Escher of Iowa City and Tracy Finley (Julia) of Iowa City.
