It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Knowling of Oxford, Iowa is shared. Mary, born on September 12, 1935, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Kennedy and Rachel Kennedy (Linkhart); her husband Kite Knowling; her son-in-law Bill Upton; and her brother James Kennedy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Upton, Lori Knowling, Brenda Ries (Roger) and Trish Bennett (Mark); her grandchildren, Amanda Madery (Mathew), Alyson Henn (Jonathan), Mollie Shannon (Wyatt), Michael Upton (Ella) and Piper Bennett; and her great grandchildren, Brady, Ellie Madery, Ethan, Connor Henn, Sawyer and William Shannon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St Mary's Church (215 Summit St, Oxford, IA 52322). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (215 Summit St, Oxford, IA 52322).
