He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Haring; his son Jason Scheitler (Andrea); his grandchildren, Taylor and Brooke of Brandon; his child Jed Scheitler (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Zander and Morgan of Sioux Center, Iowa; his daughter Shelly Peterson (Dennis); his grandson Austin Clay of Seney, Iowa; his child Carly Olson (Nick Peters); his grandchildren, Dylan Bruhn, Landen Olson and Ava Olson of Le Mars, Iowa; his son Jake Scheitler (Kimberly); his granddaughters, Vivian and Eve of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; and his siblings, Stanley Scheitler (Janice) of Remsen, Iowa, Jeanette Schwartz (Harry Sypersma) of Hinton, Iowa, Roger Scheitler (Laurie) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Judy Campbell (Bob) of Wichita, Kansas, Joann Hoffman of Akron, Iowa, Rose Logan (David) of Des Moines, Iowa and Kris Mroczkowski (Kelly) of Johnston, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
