He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice William and Eileen Kathryn Alig (Hartman); his sister Cathy Lenz; his brother-in-law Steve Sweet; and his grandson Garrett Alig.
He is survived by: his son Brian Alig (Risa); his grandsons, Palmer Jack Alig and Robinson Alig; and his siblings, Kenny Alig (Betty), Steve Alig (Lex), David Alig, Betty Sweet and Sandy Dittmer (Bruce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
