He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Wright and Clara Wright (Bleckman); his in-laws, Leo and Ruth Leonard (Donahue); and his siblings, Dorothy Hanrahan, Beverly Wright, Donald Wright, Kermit Wright and Melvin Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Leonard of Patrick's Catholic Church; and his children, Linda Wolfe of Fairmont, Tim Wright of Estherville, Norm Wright (Christine) of McKinney and Scott Wright (Lisa) of Charles City, Iowa.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel-Estherville (401 N 7th St, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (903 Central Ave, Estherville, IA 51334).
