He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Pauley and Louise Pauley (Schmitz); his wife Eileen Schleimer; his son Darren; and his siblings, Lucille, Bernadine, Mitz, Thelma, Janice, Walter, Gerald and Alfred.
He is survived by: his sons, Kerry Pauley (Audra Honeyman) of Panama, Brad Pauley (Zamira) of Jacksonville and Jason Pauley of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the St. Mary's Parish Hall (104 N 2nd St, Panama, IA 51562). Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (208 St Marys Ave, Panama, IA 51562).
