She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Zimmer and Geneva Zimmer (Blum); her brothers, John Zimmer and Jim Zimmer; and her siblings-in-law, Kerry McPherson, Tom Billheimer and Colleen Tibben.
She is survived by: her husband Kevin Chesnut of Panora; and her children, Shea Jorgensen (Marty) of Dallas Center, Troy Chesnut (Salina) of Creston and Kory Chesnut (Charity) of Earlham. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Twigg Funeral Home - Panora (219 E Main St, Panora, IA 50216). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (220 N 1st St, Panora, IA 50216).
