We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025, at the age of 71, Mark Buss of Parkersburg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred "Bud" Buss and Lenora Buss (Molendorp); his son Aaron Buss; and his siblings, Benne, Gary, Marvin, Joyce Hinders, Bonnie Walters and Jann Wiegmann.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bakker; his son Taylor Buss (Brittany) of Parkersburg; his daughter-in-law Kelly Buss Wubbena of Bristow; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Alexis, Elizabeth and Henry; his siblings, Joel Buss (Diane) of Parkersburg, Deanna Scheidecker (Walt) of Parkersburg, Karen Weber of Charles City, Renee Yost (Bob) of Parkersburg, Peggy Miller (Darwin) of Parkersburg, Kathy Aalfs of Parkersburg and Cindy Henning (Roy) of Clarksville; his brother-in-law Lee Walters of Parkersburg; his stepsons, Shawn Thorne (Ashley) of Kansas City and Ian Thorne (Rachell) of Phoenix; and his stepgrandchildren, June and Luke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Redman Funeral Home (507 2nd St, Parkersburg, IA 50665).
