She is survived by : her daughter Dorothy Hempen (DeGroote); her former life partner Daryl Rasmussen; and her sons, Curtis Rasmussen (Diane) of Aplington, Craig Rasmussen (Valerie) of Des Moines and Chad Rasmussen (Jane) of Long Grove, Iowa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
