He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Mae Sell; his children, Duane DeGroote (Marie) of Parkersburg and Linda Hayes (Sid) of Dike; his grandchildren, Melody Massoth (Dan) of Shell Rock, Rick DeGroote (Kayla Johnson) of Parkersburg, Ryan Hayes (Cristina) of West Liberty, Dustin Hayes (Kristal) of Dike and Joel Hayes (Ashley) of Holland; and his brother Gary DeGroote (Norma).
