He is survived by: his wife Shelly; his son Joshua of Paullina; his parents, Bruce Simm (Pam) of Paullina and Cheryl Grotenhuis (Ed) of Alton; his brother Mike Simm (Cindy) of Paullina; his parents-in-law, Jim Hoft (Connie) of Lake View and Roxy Rubendall (late Leon) of Sac City, Iowa; his sister-in-law Angie Fischer of Sac City, Iowa; and his sibling's children, Jordan Flickinger (Charlie), Riley, Carly Fischer, Shelby Kelleher (Brytton) and Colby Simm. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, several aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
