She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lentz and Clara Lentz (Haase); her husband Donald Edward Brown; her siblings, Raymond, Edwin, Harvey, Marvin, Mildred and Dwain Lentz; and her stepgrandson Chad Marx.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Postma (Chuck), Todd Brown (Rhonda) of Paullina and Mark Brown (Kris) of Dakota Dunes; her grandchildren, Andrew, Evan Postma, Heath Brown and Melissa Marx; and her great grandchildren, Emerson, Greyson Brown, Siena, Jayce and Tye DeGeorgia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:25 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (103 W Groesbeck St, Paullina, IA 51046). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at the Prairie View Cemetery (4694 Polk Ave, Paullina, IA 51046).
