She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Zee and Anna Van Zee (DeKock); her husband John; her siblings, Jennie De Jong (Bill), Anna Steenhoek (Walter), Julia Van Zee, Henrietta McConeghey (Paul), Freda Cummings (Don) and John Van Zee (Bernice); and her brother-in-law Gale Wing.

She is survived by: her children, Frederic Mick (Bea) of Pella and Barbara Stone (Jim) of Edgewood; her grandchildren, Toby Mick (Darlene) of Pella, Joe Michmershuizen (Leisa) of Pella, Josh Mick (Samantha) of Pella, Tracy Steger (Dan) of Independence and Kelly Larson (Brian) of Eagan, Minnesota; her great grandchildren, Marijka, Metji, Marielle, Mariam Michmershuizen of Pella, Izabella, Tyson Mick of Pella, Nick Steger of Cedar Falls, Stone, Kennedy and Alexa Larson of Eagan, Minnesota; her stepgranddaughters, Lori Van Veen of Pella and Alyssa Iyers of Cambridge, Massachusetts; and her sister Leona Wing.
