He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley H. Mulder and Margaret Mulder (Tibboel). He is survived by: his son Brandon Mulder (Crystal) of Des Moines; his stepdaughters, Kassie Thompson and Adeana Dickson; and his brothers, Alan Mulder (Deb Dennison) of Knoxville and Randy Mulder (Viney) of Gowrie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Monroe Iowa Fire Department.
