She is survived by: her husband Bernhard Sauer; her daughter Gina Sauer; her son-in-law Troy Bader; and her grandson Christopher Bader. She is also survived by four nieces and a nephew.
Memorial donations may be made to Peace Lutheran Church in Pella or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
