He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his family, Beth, Gary Kingma, Jason, Kayla, Mollie, Marcus, Bonnie, Brad Riphagen, Tim, Ashley, Kayce, Jacob, Bev, Carl Van Zee, Jon and Morgan. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Wesley Life Hospice.
