Joel leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joel’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joel will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Veenstra and Rita Veenstra of Pella; his family, Andrew Veenstra, Alex Veenstra (Kirsten), Javen and Caitlin Veenstra; his brother Darrell; his sister-in-law Angela Veenstra; and his nephews, Blake and Trevor of Lynnville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Stroke Association or the Peoria Christian School.
