John Van Zee Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Van Zee (Pella, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Zee and Johanna Van Zee (Willemsen); his wife Edith Spoelstra; his son Jim Van Zee; his parents-in-law, Jacob and Emma Spoelstra; his brother Albert Van Zee; his sons-in-law, Donald Pokorney and Reuben Buwalda; and his siblings-in-law, Renee Van Zee, Cornie, Elvera Spoelstra, Arie, Wilma Spoelstra, Harold and Freda Spoelstra.

He is survived by: his children, Janice Buwalda (late Reuben), Dennis, Amy Killoren, Alex Killoren, Sarah, Dakota Lisk, Tyler Killoren, Hannah Nicholson (Ryan Killoren), Sara Van Zee, Kimmy, Zach Marsh, Maddy Van Zee, Waylon Marsh and Kinzley Marsh; and his sister Harriet Van Vark (Merlin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Pella Christian Schools.
