She was predeceased by: her husband Willis Van Haaften; her family Christopher De Bruin; her parents, Ernest Cook and Bess De Cook; her parents-in-law, Arie and Mabel Van Haaften; her brothers-in-law, Harley Van Roekel and Wilbur Veenstra; and her grandson Christopher De Bruin.
She is survived by: her family, Jane, Don De Bruin, Jill, Mike Bandstra, Kaylee, Addison, Mattingly, Ina, James Boeke, Renae Boeke, Dexter Wallis, Julia, Rachel, Jon Caspers, Leighton, Jovi, Karen, Scott Ramsey, Trisha Tyson, Wyatt and Brooklyn; her sisters, Marilyn Veenstra and Nancy Van Roekel; and her siblings-in-law, Arlan Van Haaften (Lois), Ervin Van Haaften (Glenda) and Nelva Vander Linden (Jaren).
