It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Akers (Pella, Iowa), who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Kellison and Wanda Kellison (Martin). She is survived by: her son Derrick; her husband Steve Akers; her sons, Delaney Akers of Waterloo and Ben Akers (Vonnie Pratt) of Orange City; her parents-in-law, Ernie, Dee Akers and Lois Akers; her siblings, Patricia Allen (late Bob), Peggy Comley (Ronnie), Kathy McCarty (Bill) and Ted Kellison (Lynn); her pet Dawson; and also, Jim Akers (Mendi), Matt Akers (Vanessa) and Valerie Stuart (Bryan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
