He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Terlouw and Phebe Ann Terlouw (Renaud); his son Cleo; and his siblings, Arletta Baarda, Jennie Marie Hurst, Henry Charles Terlouw, Martha Willemsen, Isabelle Vander Weerdt, Marion Terlouw and Lloyd Terlouw.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Arlene Versendaal; his family, Lila Berger (Gregg), Michael Berger (Ali), Brandon, Nathan, Amelia Berger (Chris George), Pamela Liptack (Bob), Lake, Carlene Heald (Barry), Kimberly Pasternack (Will), Jonah, Hadley, Beckett, Lacey, Joshua Heald (Mackenzie Schamborg), Rhonda Ehrhardt (Rick), Reid Ehrhardt and Robyn Ehrhardt; his sister Theda Fopma of Grinnell; and his brother-in-law Adrian Versendaal of Grinnell, Iowa.. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Berean Baptist Church (314 Main St, Pella, IA 50219).
