With sadness, we share the passing of Robert Miller in Pella, Iowa. Robert, born on March 1, 1943, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Miller and Gretchen Miller; and his sister Marilyn Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Frances "Fran" Rebecca Meacham; his children, Andrea Strayer (Kent), Greg Miller (Linda) and Matt Miller (Marja); his great grandchild Snickers; his grandchildren, Whitney Lehigh (Ted), Ashley Brandt (Dillon), Kelsey Bloom (Brandon), Brian Strayer, Mark Strayer (Lucy), Sam Miller and Greta Miller; his great grandchildren, Lily Brandt, Sawyer Bloom, Jack Brandt, Henry Brandt, Elliot Bloom and Lucy Brandt; and his brother Tom Miller (Joyce).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (415 School St, Carlisle, IA 50047). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Vandalia Cemetery (10696 W 137th St S, Prairie City, IA 50228).
