Ron Henkenius Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ron Henkenius in Pella, Iowa, who passed away on January 4, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara B. Henkenius (Klahs) and Raymond Henkenius; his grandchildren, Adam Livers, Paige Livers and Sadie Livers; and his great grandchild Lilith Catherine Lynn Poitra.

He is survived by: his wife Grace Henkenius; his children, Teresa Livers (Steve), Steve Henkenius (Mona), Matt Henkenius (Stephanie), Christy Gambell (Doug) and Chuck Henkenius (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Paige Ebner, McKenna Miller (Kyle), Grant Livers, Michael Ebner, Jack Livers, Maci Anderson (Colton), Noah Henkenius, Katie Henkenius, Lindsey Henkenius, Kyle Henkenius, Ryan Henkenius, Kelsey Henkenius and Thomas Ebner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Comfort House in Pella or St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Ottumwa and may be left at the church or mailed to Coburn Funeral Home, 24 W Howard St, Colfax, Iowa 50054.
