With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Rietveld (Pella, Iowa), who passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ronald had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Ronald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan [John] Willard Rietveld and Gertrude Rietveld (Sneller). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Eleanor Rietveld; his sons, John Laven Rietveld (Jacqueline Marie) and James Dirk Rietveld (Sarah Joanne Thorne); and his grandchildren, Jacob John Rietveld and Kristina Victoria Rietveld (Carlos Benjamin Pelayo).
Most of all, Ronald was a man full of faith and conviction in his Lord Jesus Christ and Savior—for him it was always "to God be the glory"!Memorials may be given to the First Church - Pella, Iowa, or the Pella Preservation Trust.
