She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett C. Jong and Allie De Jong (De Cook); her former husband Warren De Prenger; her siblings, Johnnie, Delia De Jong, Clazina and Harold Hoksbergen; and her sisters-in-law, Blanche (Herman Wyngarden) and Esther De Prenger.
She is survived by: her husband Tom; and her family, Deb, Lee Kerndt, Cory, Allison Kerndt, Calla, Colin, Emme, Adam, Ali Kerndt, Grace, Olivia, Kathy, Bryce Engbers, Cherish, Tim Fedders, Sam, Stella, Jack, Crystal, Dan Lannin, Lincoln, Lucy, Matthew, Heather Engbers, Bri, Landry, Michael, Hillary Engbers, Grayson and Gavin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Church (603 Broadway St, Pella, IA 50219). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (2051 Eaton Ave, Leighton, IA 50143).
