Betty Downs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Downs of Perry, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Blanche Dalton Anderson; her husband Donald Eugene Downs; her daughters, Karen and Linda; her granddaughter Sarah; and her siblings, Bob and Marge White.
She is survived by: her children, John Daniel Levins, Jr. (Michele) of Burlington and Debora Patterson of Burlington; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Jerimiah, Heather and Roy; and her half-brother John Anderson of Des Moines. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
