She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kopesky and Gladys Kopesky (Varner); and her sisters, Barbara Johnson, Bette Carpenter and Bonnie Lankenau.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Edmondson of Perry; her sons, Jim Edmondson (Cindy) of Johnston, Jeff Edmondson (Renae) of Fairbanks and Joseph Edmondson of Perry; her granddaughter Jennifer Cornley (Adam); her great grandchildren, Asher of Colorado and Miles of Colorado; her grandchildren, Spencer Edmondson of Colorado and Jessica Edmondson (Terry); her great grandchildren, Landon of Perry, Sabilla of Perry, Camilla of Perry and Isabella of Perry; and her grandchildren, Brian Edmondson of Perry, Isabella of Perry, Camilla, Sabilla and Landon. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Heartland Church of Christ (14417 J Ave, Perry, IA 50220). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines.
