She was predeceased by: her parents, Garold McMullin and Alice Jane McMullin (Stickel); her siblings, Danny McMullin (Donna) and Denise Ingebritsen (Tom); and her nephew Scott McMullin.
She is survived by: her husband Joe McCarty; her daughter Alison Matheny (Brian Matheny); her nephews, Brad, Todd McMullin, Isaac Ingebritsen and Maddie; and her brothers-in-law, George McCarty and Rev. Lawrence McCarty.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - Perry Chapel (1721 Park St, Perry, IA 50220). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family and will be designated toward a scholarship in Diane's name to support future students pursuing a career in nursing.
