Elaine Jean Wicks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Jean Wicks of Perry, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Elwood and Neoma Elwood (Berhow); her husbands, Norman Reed and Harold Wicks of Mark's Lutheran Church; and her siblings, Janice Hixson (Rick Hixson), Kieth Elwood (Therese Elwood), Carroll Elwood (Marlys Elwood), Arlan Elwood (Mary Elwood) and Duane Elwood.
She is survived by: her nephew Craig Thorson; her sister Patricia Thorson; and her siblings-in-law, Arlin Thorson (Galen Elwood) of Lake Mills, IA and Cindy Elwood of Gibbon, MN. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Christ Lutheran Church in Perry.
