She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Fischer and Alma Fischer (Zimmerman); her husband Charles W. Zook; her son Douglas; and her brother Alvin.
She is survived by: her daughter Jacqueline Zook of Chicago, IL; her granddaughter Christal Ballou (Stephen) of Waukee, IA; her great grandchildren, Zachary Ballou (Jaden) and Samantha Ballou; her grandson Corey Zook (Angie) of Madrid, IA; and her great grandchildren, Landyn Zook and Myles Zook. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
