She is survived by: her children, Dan (Ila Jean), Deb Irving (Dean), Steve, Ann (Mike Gaul) and Patricia; her grandchildren, Todd, Noah (Sarah), Hannah (Taylor), Emily (Miguel), Kathryn (Zach), Eric (Courtney), Adam, Elizabeth (Sergio) and Eleanor; her great grandchildren, Aileah, Camila, Quinn, Charlee, Brantley, Lane, Eli, Everleigh, Mazie, Millie and Merritt; her siblings, John, Bill and Linda; her sister-in-law Doris Waite; her cousin Melinda Anderson Schaufer; and her husband Larry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbors and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Iowa 4-H Foundation (please direct it towards Dallas County); the Iowa State University William and Ransome Nelson Scholarship in meteorology; the Helen (Anderson) Nelson Scholarship at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois; Mt.
