He was predeceased by: his parents, John Botts and Thelma Botts; his wife Sandra Sue Botts; his siblings, Veloy Burke (Don), Velma Riggins (David), Dean Botts (Alice) and Virgil Botts (Dorothy); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Meier, Doris Pantier, Vernas Shipley, Verna Martin, Norma Herridge, Donald Johns, George Johns, Jack Meier, Dale Shipley, Richard Herridge, Bill Martin, Jack Lientz and Virgil Pantier.
He is survived by: his sons, Mitch Botts (Cindy) and Eric Botts (Lori); his grandchildren, Katie Whitaker (Charlie), Tony Botts (Jackie), Shelli Botts, Brad Botts (Sydney), Meghan Shaw (AJ), Hayley Nord (Blake) and Carly Botts; his great grandchildren, Reese Mabrey, Addisyn Shaw, Ruby Shaw, Landon Shaw, Oliver Nord, Cal Botts and Macklin Botts; his sister-in-law Linda Olson (Bob); and his nephew Rhett Clayton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Wesley Village in Macomb, Illinois, to be used for the benefit and support of the dedicated staff who provided Larry with such compassionate care.
