He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd "Kelly" Jones and Ella Jones (Conklin); and his siblings, Monte Jones and Donna Luchman (Harry). He is survived by: his wife Diane Jones of Perry; his son Ryan Jones (Pamela) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Sydney and Carson; his daughter Melissa Schlaud (Nicholas) of Minnetrista; his grandchildren, Ella and Owen; and his sister Teresa Furneaux (David) of Urbandale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Perry Chapel (1721 Park St, Perry, IA 50220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First United Methodist Church - Perry (1100 3rd St, Perry, IA 50220). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Violet Hill Cemetery (1700 Park St, Perry, IA 50220).
Memorial donations may be made to the Dallas County Hospital Foundation or the Mayo Clinic Foundation.
