She was predeceased by : her parents, Doug Clark and Wilma Clark (Clutter); and her in-laws, Ben Sr. and Helen Holmes. She is survived by : her friends, Dee Strait, Liz Eastman, Cindy Kelley and Dawn Moffett; her husband Ben; her brothers, Larry Clark (Janet) and Jim Clark (Kathy); her nieces and nephews, Erin Finigan (Mike), Kris Lenaghan (Andy), Ryan Clark (Tamara) and Bryan Clark (Julie); her sister-in-law Nancy Emmert (Darrell); and her nieces, Mashell Emmert, Erica Ritter and Melissa Bickel. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hastings Funeral Home - Perry (1417 2nd St, Perry, IA 50220). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society or the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in Sandy's name or sent to Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
