He was predeceased by: his parents, An Tia Baccam and Vinh Lovan; and his brothers, Vone Baccam and Ou Baccam. He is survived by: his children, Vanhnida Peterson (Matt), Landna McGill (John), Trista Baccam and Coby Baccam; his grandchildren, CaVon Peterson, Savanh Peterson, Eli McGill, Izzy McGill and Rylan Muminovich; his sister-in-law Dzoane Baccam (Maam); and his siblings, Souan Baccam (Kong), Pien Baccam, Nuey Nola, Bounchan Keongam (Khammee) and Yanto Quangvan (Chanpheng). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home (8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50322).
