He is survived by: his sister Fern McCasland; his nephews, Gerald Baker and Gary Sterling McCasland; his niece Mabel McCasland; and his siblings, Helen Stout, Ernest Ernie Patterson, Jr. of Urbandale, IA, Shirley Givant of Winterset, IA and Julia Bruett of Winfield, IA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
