He is survived by: his sister Fern McCasland; his siblings' children, Gerald Baker, Mabel McCasland and Gary Sterling McCasland; and his siblings, Helen Stout, Ernest Ernie Patterson, Jr. of Urbandale, IA, Shirley Givant of Winterset, IA and Julia Bruett of Winfield, IA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
