Donald Dell Tibbetts Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Dell Tibbetts of Peterson, Iowa, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Fields Tibbetts and Del Kinyon Tibbetts; his former wife Jean Magnussen; his siblings, Delbert Tibbetts, Howard Tibbetts, Melba Medsker and Francis Melton; and his grandchildren, Brandon Schuknecht and Tatum Tibbetts.
He is survived by: his children, Cody (Abby Tibbetts) and Brittney (Nick Jones); his wife Shayla Pingel; his sister Sheryl (Larry Carlson); his daughter Karal (Bruce Schuknecht); his grandchildren, Josilyn and Jarrod; his son Tracy (Debbie Tibbetts); his grandchildren, Dale and Travis; his daughter Angie (Brian Prange); and his grandchildren, Keegan, Reagan, Collins, Griffin, Porter, Rowan, Breckyn, Briggs and Hayes. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterson First United Methodist Church (108 E 3rd St, Peterson, IA 51047). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
These were just a few of his many lasting contributions to the place he called home.
