He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett "Howard" Loyd and Stacia Loyd (Price); his daughter Ashley Loyd; and his siblings, Bill, Jack and Patsy Loyd.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Loyd of Mondamin; his children, Gary Loyd (Julie) of Omaha, Aaron Loyd of Mondamin, Annette (David Kuhlman) of Modale, Candace (Lyle Wallis) of Pisgah and Damon Marcum (Jackie) of Missouri Valley, Iowa; his grandchildren, Torrey Kuhlman, Brady Kuhlman, Cheyann Straight, Brett Marcum, Darby Himmelberg, Mattingly Marcum, Kolby Kuhlman, Tyler Marcum and Sage Wallis; and his nieces, Nicole Loyd and Dawna Baxter. He is also survived by 12 great granddaughters; one great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 114 Iowa St, Pisgah, IA 51564.
