He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex and Ruby (Bear); his stepmother Ethel Wells; his siblings, Clive Wells, Leone Irwin, Lila Haines and Dixie Millizer; and his stepsisters, Geraldine Fadiga, Gretchen Fadiga, Donna Davis and Eleanor Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Norma D. Wells; his children, Nina Wells of Plano, Marian Wade (Matt) of Seymour and Terry Wells (Kelly Marinin) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Krista Tuttle (Jeff), Tim Wells (Alisha), Ashley Daniel (Nate) and Kaylee Horman; his stepgrandchildren, Chloe and Brandon Wade; his great grandchildren, Brody, Addison Tuttle, Atlas Daniel and Scarlett Wells; and his siblings-in-law, Max Peterson (Sandra), Marilyn Gordon (Richard), Rex Peterson (Betty) and Ruth Deloris Jones (Ray F.). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Seymour Public Library.
