He is survived by: his children, Katie Timmerman (Joe) of Des Moines, Karaline Velasco (Chris) of Urbandale and Kristin Overton of Johnston; his grandchildren, Kyli, Peighton Timmerman, Alexia and Sebastian Velasco; and his sister Terri White (Kevin) of Des Moines.
