He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rieger and Alma Rieger; and his brother-in-law Neil Hildebrand. He is survived by: his wife Lory; his children, DeeAnn Grebner, Andy Rieger and Rhonda McCleary (Jim); and his grandchildren, Keely, Harper, Olivia and Stefan.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials honoring Denny be made to Oakwood United Methodist Church, Trinity on Fifth Church (Altoona) or the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation.
