With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evelyn Shivers (Pleasant Hill, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Ellis and Buda Ellis (Maricle); and her husband Harold Vance Shivers. She is survived by: her children, Judie Kakac of Webb City, MO, David Shivers (Jill) of Fresno, CA, Randy Shivers (Cindy) of Cincinnati, OH, Nancy Rogers (Don) of Carlisle, IA and Larry Shivers (Chris) of Indianola, IA; and her siblings, Dick Ellis (Nancy) of Ottumwa, IA and Anna May Wilson (Don). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to her church Rising Sun Church of Christ.
