She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur and Bernice; her brothers, Larry, Douglas and William; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Tucker.

She is survived by: her husband Kurt Shivers; her son Joseph Shivers (Kara); her grandchildren, Zoe, Raymond and Brayden Shivers; her brothers, Richard Hanson (Sandra), Lynn Hanson (Marilyn) and Paul Hanson (Danita); and her sister-in-law Gail. She is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews.
