He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dwight Earle and Virgie Mae Van Zee (Dickerson); his wife Virginia "Gigi" Buenviaje of Pleasant Hill; his daughter Crystal Lewis-Van Zee of Maryland; his sister Marlys Speers (Slade) of Monroe, IA; his nephews, Dalton Speers (Taylor) of Memphis, TN and Sheldon Speers (Katie) of Mitchellville, IA; and his great-nephews, Sterling, Callaway and Stetson Speers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel (2116 N 3rd St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the New Life Church in Pleasant Hill.
