He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Jiggs" Horsman and Mary Opal Horsman; and his sister Harriet Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Brooks; his children, Jolene Horsman (Jerry Erdmann) of Olathe, KS, Thomas Horsman (Crystal) of Pleasantville and Valerie Wright of Pleasantville; and his grandchildren, Ashton McCann-Horsman and Brayden Wright.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bertrand Funeral Homes (Mason Funeral Home) (902 N State St, Pleasantville, IA 50225). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pleasantville Emergency Services or American Legion, Post 108.
