With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna S. Stover of Pocahontas, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Clausen and Frieda Clausen (Clausen); her husband Dennis Stover; her son Steve; and her siblings, Elsie Shaveland, Lucile Weatherford, Frieda Lehr, John Clausen and Rev. Julius Clausen.
She is survived by: her son Rick Stover (Marcia) of Grimes; and her brothers, Hans Clausen (Lola), Herman Clausen and Thomas Clausen (Judy). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Pocahontas (502 4th Ave NE, Pocahontas, IA 50574). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (311 IA-4, Mallard, IA 50562). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Washington Cemetery.
