He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Joachims of Pocahontas; his children, David Block (Lynn) of Bondurant, Nancy Allen (Ken) of Pocahontas, Karen Smith of Des Moines and Steven Block (Amy) of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, Portia Allen, Tenicia Hanselman (Nathan), Misha Smith, Patrick Allen (Leah), Josh Block (Hannah), Morgan Block, Nicholas Block, Alexander Block and Ashton Block; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Hanselman, Tatum Block, Koen Block, Miya Hanselman and Marshall Allen; and his siblings, Mary Baker of Fort Dodge, Robert Block (Barb) of Manson and Diane Isaacs of Rockwell City.
