He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd W. Scott and Lucile Scott (Cook); and his brother-in-law Ed Monaghan. He is survived by : his wife Mary Cae of Pocahontas; his children, Chris Scott (Tricia Mouw) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jamie Scott (Audrey) and Jason Scott of Pocahontas; his stepchildren, Steph Barrett of Waukee and Stephen Zdrazil (Angie) of Fort Dodge; and his siblings, Joanne Monaghan of Dallas, TX, Barb Scott (Skip) of Okoboji and John Scott (Louisa) of Silver Spring, MD.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Pocahontas (502 4th Ave NE, Pocahontas, IA 50574). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church (11 SW 2nd St, Pocahontas, IA 50574). A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (201 NE 6th St, Pocahontas, IA 50574).
