We are sad to announce that, on September 28, 2025, at the age of 55, Michael W. Arends of Pocahontas, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Arends and LaVonne Arends (Reinders); his son Dalton Arends; his brother Danny Arends; and his brother-in-law Jeff Cundiff.

He is survived by: his children, Gunnar Arends of Laurens, Cage Arends of Laurens and Ataya Arends of Laurens; his granddaughter Odessa King; and his sisters, RoxAne Cundiff of Nampa, ID and Wendy Samuelson (Don) of Laurens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested in Mike's name to his family.
